Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport to Cease Commercial Operations at 1 p.m. CST on Friday, October 9
Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) will cease commercial operations beginning at 1 p.m. CST today, Friday, October 9, as we continue to monitor Hurricane Isaias and its potential impacts to our Region.
The Airport Terminal will remain open; however, the Terminal is not operating as a public shelter. We encourage residents and visitors seeking shelter to follow guidance from local emergency management officials regarding designated shelter locations.
Passengers with scheduled travel should check directly with their airline for the latest flight information.
The safety of our passengers, airline partners and Airport personnel remains our highest priority. Our team will continue monitoring conditions in coordination with our local, state, federal and airline partners, and we will share additional updates regarding Airport operations as information becomes available.
We encourage everyone in our community to stay informed and stay safe as the storm approaches.
