SUBJECT: Approve 2024 Board Schedule

INTRODUCTION: This item provides for Board approval of the 2024 Board Schedule.
DISCUSSION: Staff has completed the process of compiling a schedule for the 2024 monthly Board Meetings and Workshops. According to the Florida Special District Handbook, all Special Districts must publish their meeting schedule. After approval from the Board, this schedule will be published in the local newspaper. Any changes to the meeting dates must be published at least seven (7) days prior to the rescheduled meeting. Staff is requesting that the Board Meetings begin at 9:00 a.m..
The 2024 tentative Board Meeting dates and times are as follows:
The PANAMA CITY-BAY COUNTY AIRPORT AND INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT has set the schedule for Board Meetings/Workshops for the year 2024. The meeting dates are as follows:
January 24 Wednesday
February 28 Wednesday

July 24 Wednesday
August 28 Wednesday
September 6 Friday (Budget Workshop)
September 25 Wednesday

BUDGET IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board approve the Board Schedule for 2024.
ACTION REQUIRED: Board approval as recommended.
