ECP Proud­ly Spon­sors 14th Annu­al 30A Song­writ­ers Festival

PANA­MA CITY BEACH, Fla. (Decem­ber 13, 2022) — North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) is proud to be the offi­cial Air­port spon­sor for the 14th Annu­al 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­val set for Jan­u­ary 13 – 16, 2023. For more than a decade, the fes­ti­val has attract­ed thou­sands of music fans to enjoy per­for­mances by orig­i­nal song­writ­ers along High­way 30A in South Walton.

“We are excit­ed to wel­come renowned artists, musi­cians, and fes­ti­val atten­dees to ECP as they fly into our Region for this year’s 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­val,” said Park­er W. Since its incep­tion, the 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­val has received nation­al acco­lades and is con­sis­tent­ly sold-out year after year. As the biggest and most pres­ti­gious song­writ­ers’ fes­ti­val in the south­east, the week­end event brings togeth­er artists, local neigh­bor­hoods, venues and resorts, and music fans to cel­e­brate the art of songwriting.

In con­tin­u­a­tion of the pre­vi­ous 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­vals, all net pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit the non­prof­it Cul­tur­al Arts Alliance of Wal­ton Coun­ty (CAA), which sup­ports region­al artists, cul­tur­al events, and businesses. 

“Spon­sors like the North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port are vital to con­tin­ue our impor­tant work pro­vid­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for res­i­dents and vis­i­tors to expe­ri­ence diverse forms of art,” said CAA Exec­u­tive Direc­tor Jen­nifer Steele. ​“We can’t suc­ceed to advance the arts in Wal­ton Coun­ty with­out the gen­eros­i­ty of sup­port­ers like ECP.” 

More than 175 artists are sched­uled to make a land­ing in North­west Flori­da for the four-day event. Audi­ences will expe­ri­ence musi­cians of diverse music gen­res, rang­ing from jazz, rock, blues, Amer­i­cana, coun­try, and folk. Head­line per­for­mances at Grand Boulevard’s Town Cen­ter in Mira­mar Beach will fea­ture Gin Blos­soms, Lyle Lovett, Mor­gan Wade, Rick­ie Lee Jones, Steve Ear­le, and Yola. Beach resort towns along High­way 30A pro­vide 30 venue spaces for artists with a pic­turesque nat­ur­al back­drop. Amphithe­aters, town halls, restau­rants, bars, the­aters, and cov­ered patios are trans­formed into music venues by the 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­val pro­duc­tion team. The venues will offer advanced sound sys­tems and seat­ing capac­i­ty from 75 to 750 seats indoors to 6,000 outdoors.
