PANA­MA CITY, Fla. (Sep­tem­ber 8, 2025) –– USA Today has nom­i­nat­ed North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port under two cat­e­gories for their 10BEST Read­ers’ Choice Awards: Best Small Air­port and Best Resort Air­port. Vot­ing is open to the pub­lic and begins on Mon­day, Sep­tem­ber 8, 2025, at noon EDT. You can vote ECP for Best Small Air­port and for Best Resort Air­port here. 

The USA Today 10BEST Read­ers’ Choice Awards rec­og­nizes the best of the best across var­i­ous lifestyle and trav­el cat­e­gories. Nom­i­nees are select­ed by a pan­el of experts and reviewed by USA TODAY 10BEST edi­tors, with the pub­lic vot­ing for winners.

North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) was nom­i­nat­ed for Best Small Air­port in recog­ni­tion of its effi­cient use of space. Despite being a small air­port, ECP packs in the ameni­ties of a large air­port, includ­ing restau­rants, free Wi-Fi, a pet relief area, expand­ed secu­ri­ty options, and more.

The Air­port was also hon­ored with a nom­i­na­tion in the Best Resort Air­port cat­e­go­ry. This nom­i­na­tion speaks to ECP’s excel­lent loca­tion, just 20 min­utes from white sandy beach­es and warm waters. ECP offers many flight times and rental car ser­vices, mak­ing it easy for pas­sen­gers to get from the Ter­mi­nal to Pana­ma City, South Wal­ton, Des­tin, Sea­side, and Fort Wal­ton Beach.

The pub­lic is wel­come and encour­aged to vote dai­ly for ECP once per cat­e­go­ry until the vot­ing peri­od clos­es on Mon­day, Octo­ber 6^th at 11:59 am EDT.
