NORTH­WEST FLORI­DA BEACH­ES INTER­NA­TION­AL AIR­PORT (ECP) ANNOUNCES SOUTH­WEST AIR­LINES 2019 SUM­MER FLIGHT SCHEDULE

BRAND NEW NON-STOP SER­VICE TO KANSAS CITY, RETURN NON-STOP SER­VICE TO POP­U­LAR AUSTIN, CHICA­GO, DENVER

PANA­MA CITY, FL (Novem­ber 14, 2018) – North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) announces brand new non-stop and return­ing South­west Air­lines ser­vice start­ing next sum­mer. Brand new ser­vice on South­west Air­lines will include a non-stop flight on Sat­ur­days from ECP to Kansas City Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (MCI) begin­ning on June 8 and run­ning through August 5.

Return­ing South­west Air­lines sum­mer ser­vice will include non-stop flights on Sat­ur­days from ECP to pop­u­lar des­ti­na­tions like Austin (AUS), Chica­go (MDW), Den­ver (DEN) and St. Louis (STL), in addi­tion to year-round non-stop ser­vice on South­west Air­lines from ECP to Dal­las (DAL), Hous­ton (HOU), Nashville (BNA) and Bal­ti­more (BWI).

“ECP con­tin­ues to see pas­sen­ger activ­i­ty sig­nif­i­cant­ly increase dur­ing the sum­mer months,” said Park­er W. McClel­lan, Jr., air­port Exec­u­tive Direc­tor. ​“In the sum­mer of 2018, an esti­mat­ed num­ber of 7,200 pas­sen­gers trav­eled through the air­port on any giv­en Sat­ur­day, and there will be more activ­i­ty next sum­mer with more flights from South­west on Sat­ur­days than we’ve ever had before.”

All ECP air­line part­ners includ­ing Amer­i­can Air­lines, Delta Air Lines and Unit­ed Air­lines are expect­ed to increase flight activ­i­ty or add larg­er air­craft through the sum­mer season.
