30A SONG­WRIT­ERS FES­TI­VAL BRINGS MUSIC TO THE AIRPORT

PANA­MA CITY, FL (Decem­ber 15, 2016) –Trav­el­ers at North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port have expe­ri­enced the sounds of the 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­val as a result of the unique part­ner­ship between the Cul­tur­al Arts Alliance of Wal­ton Coun­ty and the air­port. Music from song­writ­ers attend­ing upcom­ing and past 30A Song­writ­ers Fes­ti­vals have been fea­tured as the air­ports music selection.

“Spon­sor­ing this event is a nat­ur­al fit for the air­port with more than 50 per­cent of fes­ti­val atten­dees trav­el­ing here from out of state with many of them arriv­ing at ECP,” said Park­er McClel­lan, exec­u­tive direc­tor of the air­port. ​“We look for­ward to wel­com­ing attendee’s and artists to our com­mu­ni­ty for anoth­er great year at the 30A Song­writ­ers Festival.”

Fes­ti­val line­up includes over 200 con­certs fea­tur­ing 150 song­writ­ers in 25 venues along High­way 30A. Head­lin­ers for the 2016 Fes­ti­val include John Prine, Cheap Trick, Dr. John & the Nite Trip­pers, Shawn Colvin, and many more.
