AIR­PORT TO UNVEIL HIS­TO­RY HALL IN HON­OR OF 5TH ANNIVERSARY

PANA­MA CITY, FL (May 26, 2015) – North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) to unveil His­to­ry Hall in the air­port in cel­e­bra­tion of the fifth anniver­sary of ECP. His­to­ry Hall memo­ri­al­izes the his­to­ry of avi­a­tion in Bay Coun­ty, from Fan­nin Field to the open­ing of the new airport.

The air­port has seen many suc­cess­es since the grand open­ing and even in the last six months. ECP has wel­comed two new air­lines, Unit­ed Air­lines and Sil­ver Air­ways, as well as five new flights in the past few months.

“North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port has come a long way since our open­ing in 2010,” said Park­er W. McClel­lan, Jr., exec­u­tive direc­tor of the air­port. ​“We want to take a moment to cel­e­brate not only our recent suc­cess­es, but remem­ber those who trav­eled before us and laid the ground work for avi­a­tion in Bay Coun­ty. We have a lot of his­to­ry we should be proud of.”
