The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) expects a busy season, with millions of passengers traveling from near and far. Our team is fully prepared and we’re working closely with our partners to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
Fly like a pro this holiday with ECP’s top 5 travel tips:
1. Arrive Early & Pack Your Patience
Expect an increase in travelers this season. TSA recommends arriving at least two hours before domestic flights to allow ample time for check-in and security.
2. Parking Made Easy
Need a lift to or from your parked vehicle? ECP offers a FREE Shuttle Service. Save this number for easy access: 850-636-8971. To help ease your travels, we have enhanced wayfinding, increased shuttle operations and added more payment options.
3. Go Digital for Smooth Check-in
Download your airline’s app to streamline check-in and stay updated with the latest flight information. Skip the lines by checking in on your app and heading straight to your Gate.
4. Fly Early in the Day
To reduce the risk of delays or missed connections, aim for early flights. Early departures tend to have fewer delays.
5. Know What You Can Pack
For a smoother experience, review TSA’s carry-on rules. Remember, if it can spill, spread, spray, pump, or pour and is over 3.4 ounces, it should go in your checked bag. Some holiday favorites like turkey casseroles, and stuffing are allowed in carry-ons, but check items like cranberry sauce and gravy.
