Return­ing sea­son­al ser­vices and increase in flight fre­quen­cy con­nects pas­sen­gers to air­line hubs for easy con­nec­tions worldwide

PANA­MA CITY, FL (April 19, 2016) – Gear­ing up for sum­mer trav­el sea­son, North­west Flori­da Beach­es Inter­na­tion­al Air­port (ECP) is wel­com­ing back its sea­son­al flights and increased flight fre­quen­cy through­out the sum­mer months.

Enhanced sea­son­al non­stop ser­vice on South­west has begun with flights sched­uled through the sum­mer sea­son. Non­stop sea­son­al flights to Bal­ti­more (BWI), St. Louis (STL), and Dal­las (DAL) have already begun.

Sil­ver is bring­ing back its full sum­mer sched­ule with dai­ly non­stop flights to Tam­pa (TPA) and Orlan­do (MCO).

Delta is also increas­ing its flight fre­quen­cy through­out the sea­son with an addi­tion­al non­stop flight on Sat­ur­day to Atlanta (ATL).

This increase in ser­vice comes on the heels of the announce­ment from Unit­ed Air­lines sur­round­ing addi­tion­al flights from ECP to Hous­ton (IAH) which pro­vides easy access to their world­wide network.

“With these great air­line part­ners, we are poised for a spec­tac­u­lar sum­mer at the air­port,” said Air­port Exec­u­tive Direc­tor Park­er W. McClel­lan, Jr. ​“The return­ing sea­son­al flights and increased fre­quen­cy offer our pas­sen­gers new and excit­ing des­ti­na­tions to plan a sum­mer vaca­tion, as well as access to air­line hubs for easy one-stop con­nec­tions worldwide.”

ECP con­tin­ues to grow and offer addi­tion­al air ser­vice to pas­sen­gers in the region. The air­port had a record break­ing year in 2015, with a total growth year over year of 9.35%. The suc­cess has con­tin­ued into 2016, with 52,848 pas­sen­gers this Feb­ru­ary at the air­port, which was a 23.9% increase over last year.
